How do I Calibrate the Zero offset on my FloTest/F2?

Before the Measurement

  1. Remove the protection caps from both sides of the flow measurment channel
  2. Allow the FloTest/F2 to warm-up for about 15 minutes
  3. Press the Menu tab, located on the top left hand side of yout screen
  4. Select the "Zero Calibration" option
  5. Press the "Start calibration" tab to begin the calibration
  6. Once completed, you will receive a prompt for a succesful calibration

Please note the following:

  • For a short moment after the zero calibration,  allow the instrument to settle, and the zero value will be displayed
  • Ensure that the 10 to 15 minutes warm up time is allowed, or your calibration may be unsuccessful. This should be performed in the environment that you intend to perform your testing.
  • During a zero calibration it is important that no pressure or flow is applied to any connector and that the protection caps are removed

The Accuracy will remain valid within the following conditions:

  • Between 10°C and 30°C (channel temperature)
  • Between 950 hPa and 1250 hPa (hectoPascals)
  • The zero offset calibration performed after the required warm-up period
  • For measurements performed within 4 h after last zero offset calibration at same ambient conditions
